Quick and easy tips to energise yourself internally, guarantee to work at least a bit:
#1 Take some time every day to be human, be yourself
For example, say thank you and mean it, even to strangers, tell people honestly how you feel (and be pleasantly surprised that it is ok), do something you love not because you think someone (you know or don’t know) will approve.
#2 Allow your brain to shut off
Smartphones demand our constant attention and we feel we never have time to ourselves. Next time, for example when you take the bus, don’t look at your smartphone, look out the window, even for 5 minutes if you can’t resist the temptation for long, and just let your thoughts drift away, let your brain go on holiday.
#3 Let your passion out, let yourself grow
When you are connected with your passion, you will get first hand experience, that giving and working hard at something are a blessing, you will grow as a person and feel alive. If you don’t know what you are passionate about yet, you can join as diverse activities as you can to find out, or read something that you usually don’t read to test your own reaction to those topics, and the best time to start is now.
# 4 Befriend loneliness
If you can be alone, and be ok with it, you will be a lot happier. You will have a lot more freedom, do a lot more, achieve more, and have more input to be connected with your friends.
